Why I'm leaving LuLaRoe behind

Shirin Zakerion

If you've followed this blog, you've definitely noticed how I've shared my LuLaRoe journey and any information I found useful to help fellow retailers. I felt I was pretty good at that but something I haven't been good at is sharing myself with you. It's time I change that.

LuLaRoe is a small part of who I am. My LuLaRoe business has given me so much over the past two years. Amazing experiences, friendships, & financial freedom. For that I am so thankful! Who I am doesn't stop at LuLaRoe. I'm a mom, wife, cosmetologist, DIY wannabe, money saving maven, pretty great home cook (if I do say so myself) and first generation immigrant.

I can't wait to sprinkle my knowledge all over this blog! Whether it's something I'm confident in or something new I'm going to try. Either way, I hope we learn together with a few laughs along the way.

My life story is a wild one. Something worth sharing. Born in Iran, my parents moved to America when I was 2 years old. We've certainly made the most of our opportunities with our new home.

So here I am. Like so many times in my life, evolving. I'm making the best of what life has to offer. I've always used the challenges in my life to propel me forward. I've found myself in a state of constant change and betterment.

That's where my new blog name comes into play. Honey Eyed. My name Shirin means "sweet" in Farsi. My first spoken language. My life story hasn't been an easy one but it's been so sweet.
